Default Clocking timing gear

theres a great write up on how to do a head gasket

but hes installing a 3mm head gasket.
how much should the timing gear be clocked for a 2mm head gasket?

didnt need to clock mine with the cometic 2mm. its just the added space from the 3mm when you have to adjust it.

You really don't have to, but I did here. It helped a little to get things back to TDC.

No need to clock the gear with a 2mm or 3mm HG. The minimal movement, about .010", wont really change anything. I have never clocked my gear with my 3mm HG and never had any problems.

-Precision sc5857 journal bearing
-Id 725cc
-Aem uego
-Aem fic
-Aem fic boomslang harness
-Godspeed intercooler and piping
-Tial bov 44mm
-Tial wg 38mm (7psi spring)
-Cometic 2mm head gasket
-Autometer oil pressure guage
-Autometer boost guage
-Hallman pro manual boost controller
