Default Closed Loop Knock Tuning

Anybody know of anyone other than J&S electronics that offers a closed loop knock controller?

There has to be someone using this, I know several race teams have incooprperated this type of active tuning in both FI ans N/A and Chrysler uses it on their FI cars.

I tried to get a hold of the about one of their systems and all they gave me was some crap. If you look at their website there is not much infromation on what it does. It is closed loop knock control but I would be interested in logging when it pulled timing on a graph vs rpm and temperature or pressure. Then it would be a really nice tuning tool, infact I still cant believe AEM and Hondata don't do it.

Well I am using the Emange so the stock ECM is pulling the timing so this system would be worthless to me.

there is a great difference how stock pulls timing and this unit.
Says individual pulling and not by a fixed amound buy by 1 or 2 degrees by knock. and puts back timing once the knock is gone.. this is closed loop knock retard and no OEM is closed loop..the new M5 is closed loop but thats another story

AEM will pull timing based on knock voltage... And good stand alone will! I don't think many "race" teams would want something like this though.

From what I hear, the AEM base program leaves some holes in the knock detection. J&S had several tuners using this system in conjuction with a AEM to establish a good base tune.

And yes I believe a big budget race team would have a more advanced control system in their ECM.
