Default clutch decision help please

cant choose between these two. will the 6-puck break anything in my driveline? i dont want the stage3 to slip if i ever get up to the 500hp mark. any inputs and opinions are greatly appreciated. if im making 500hp in my 2.2 what kind of tq #'s should i expect?

Stage 3 - Street/Strip Series 2300 Clutch Kit
This segmented Carbon Kevlar material with a performance pressure plate will provide the ultimate in street and strip combinations. This assembly is suited for 150% increase in torque capacity

Stage 4 - Strip Series 1620 Clutch Kit
This assembly, available with a double spring, six rivet carriage is good for ease of gear transition with higher horsepower. This disc complimented by a performance pressure plate provides 250% increase in torque capacity

well it depends if your gonna dd or track...

If your gonna go big just go all out man. IMO go for the stage 4.

As for tq#'s would be around 3xx something with 500hp

i DD my civic with a 6-puck and loved it!!! what scares me is that someone told me i would break something in my driveline by using a 6-puck? any advice? i think if something were to break it would be because of pure torque not wether you used a disk or puck clutch

if anything is going to break its gonna be the diff by lauching , other then that, you'll be fine. There lots of members here who has a 6 puck with 450-550hp that hasnt have any problems that i know of, If im wrong they will come add their 2 cents.

wouldnt it be the torque thats the real reason for the diff going out? and not the clutch? if you had stage 3 clutch and the same tq wouldnt the diff go also?

I have the Stage 5 Competition Clutch and I was curious if that is a good daily and track clutch. It is too late anyway I got word from InlinePro is an awesome clutch I HOPE SO! I am shooting for 500-600WHP so around the samething you want. Goodluck.
