hboy7777, my CM stage III holds fine at 22-24 psi. So, I don't think that you have anything to worry about. Do you get any chatter out of the clutch? What turbo kit are you using?

Since this pertains to a F.I. application, moving to F.I.

I'm using Active Traction's (ATS) carbon clutch and I love it. It's the lightest flywheel, PP, clutch combination made by far and it's good for about 350 ft-lbs of torque. You can check it out here:

Maybe exedy's carbon clutch, it will hold all you can throw at it so I have heard... but it cost $900+

Fperra, is that 350 ft-lbs at the wheels/crank? Do you have any chattering with it? It's good to hear that you've got your car running.

i do get some chatter out of the clutch, it may be because of a rougher than usual cut on the flywheel when i had it resurfaced. i put together a kit myself consisting of t3/60-1 turbo, tial 46mm wastegate, greddy type s bov, spark racing manifold, aem ems, 1000cc injectors, 255lph in tank pump, aem 1:1 fpr, on a mike simon motor - 9:1 compression.

does anyone know what i should expect as far as hp numbers go,(@20psi) im still tryin to fiind a tuner to get the most out of it. i may have the guy from torquefreaks come and do it but im not sure how much it is or how to go about doing it.

Since it's a clutch specification, I would assume its at the flywheel.

Dont know if you are willing to drive 6 hours, but here in Omaha we have a AEM certified tuner who hase done many standalone ECU's as well as the EMS.

When the weather gets better I am going to have him work on my maps to see how good his work is.

1600 for torquefreaks ia a little steep whan many are getting good at tuning the EMS.
