Clutch and gears?

Which clutch and flywheel would be recommended for a S/C application? I would like to get one that will handle the extra power with being as streetable as possible. Would like to avoid harsh engagment, and bad shuddering. Also, are building the rear end and getting gears recommened with a S/C application?

Thanks

The ACT street clutch has had pretty good reviews from all the SC'd owners. Since it uses a OEM disc, it's as quiet as the original.

As far as gears go, That's more of a personal preference. everything from the stock 4.10's to 4.77's have been used.
Check this out for speed in each gear:

I'm going to move this to FI.

From what I understand, the stock clutch is fine, it's the pressure plate you'll want to get. something along the lines of ACT's HD Pressure Plate. Also change the throwout bearing (you can use the OEM bearing) since they will have it apart anyways.

There are a few other ideas about flywheel. Some get the OEM one lightened while others get an aftermarket flywheel.

as for the rear end, it depends on how you drive it. If you go aftermarket, IMO, I'd go with the 4.57 gears, since they are made for the S2k and are stronger than the 4.77's. I'd also get the comptech reinforced diff if you plan on driving like me. lol
