Clutch switch - To disable, or not to disable
Looking for some insight on disabling the clutch switch so you can start the car without the pedal depressed. I knew some Supra guys that swore by this as their engines were notorious for crank walk. I didn't ever really consider it on our car, but a recent post I read got me thinking about it. I'm more interested in experience & thoughts on it than the poll results, but I thought it would be interesting to see how many actually do it.
Especially interested to hear input from the experienced mechanics on here
(Posted here rather than UTH as I'm more interested in those with upgraded clutches that FI requires)

^^^This.
I see absolutely ZERO reason not to do this.
I disabled mine on the pedal, and replaced with a momentary switch that's tucked away somewhere super special.
Solves both problems, no foot on pedal for starting, and prevents any idiot that may jump into it from being able to start it.
