Sorry for a noob question but would this make breaking the diff no longer a concern? If so, does it strain some other component or it fixes the usual weak link in a boosted car without any drawback or compromise? How much are we looking at for cost? Does it change anything else about the way the car drives or feels?
I don't think I will break axels or diff anymore considering I'm staying at 420 hp... They say it moves the weak link to the tranny .. But I think it can handle the power I got .. The axles I broke and diff with stock power .. Car drives like stock s2000 you would not even know it was in there .. I think it's 5 gs for the stage 1 kit .. And over 6gs for the stage 2 .. Difference is driveshaft and 1000 hp axels instead of 500hp .. Different hubs and studs too
it does transfer the next weak link to the tranny. But it all depends on how you drive. If you are smooth with your shifts and not launching it like crazy, the car will be fine. @ 365 whp / 230 tq, my s2000 was fine for 10k miles on stock diff, tranny, & axles (didn't launch ever).
