Default Code after Vortech install

Ok, so now, I thought everything was all good. Now on the way home, it did it again....CEL comes on and the 3000 RPM "ceiling," that Ive read about here on the forum, kicks in and Im assed out....stuck driving at about 53 MPH to get home. I havent gotten a chance to triple check my vacuum lines. I'll be doing that in the morning. My car sat for 6 months last year so it was weak, but I trickle charged it for about 10 hours last night. I mention that cuz I read a previous thread saying a guy fixed the same 3000 RPM ceiling issue by replacing his battery.

Ive been dealing with this issue ALL WEEK. Im desperate. PLEASE help. I will double, triple, and QUADRUPLE check my vacuum lines in the morning.

My friend also suggested checking my battery condition. "Just because it says 12-13 volts, doesnt mean the amperage is in good condition." T or F??

FYI, I redid my wires at the ECU about 4 times, soldering this last time because crimps dont sit well with me....not enough for piece of mind.

I REALLY dont feel like paying $900 for another black box....if so, might as well go EMS right??

PLEASE HELP.

Thanks.

ill be honest i dont think you have a vacuum leak. does the CEL flash and then stay on, or does it just come on. a flash before a CEL generally means something bad.

I believe it just stays on. What could the flash mean?

And just so they know, the code is P0411 Secondary air injection system. Look at that thread I sent you and make sure they are plumbed correctly.

Alright guys, Ive checked and checked and checked. I cant find any holes or anything wrong with the vacuum lines. I took a couple pictures of the routing. Maybe I missed something. Help!!

THe last pic is a lil hard to make out but its all there, all the plumbing is correct. Is there something I missed?? Are there too many Ts near the intake manifold??? If I cant get this, Im juss gon have a shop fix it all. Its getting annoying. I would really like to fix it myself but this is my daily driver and I dont kno what else to do. Also, my resources are limited cuz Im living away from home right now. Thanks in advance.

A P0411 won't cause a low RPM rev limit. you have another problem. Was that your only code?
