Default Coil packs

Hi Guys, I have an AP1 with a rotex supercharger. I have a misfire at high rpm. I had one coil packs go 12 months ago so thought I’d replace the set and plugs.

all the posts seem to be old and the market is flooded with different products in the uk

i found dragon fire performance set for k20

wondered if anyone had any experience with the above, or running k20 coil packs on an f20c?

OEM AP2 coil packs work for the AP1 they cost about 1/5th the price of AP1 coil packs. The coil packs from the Civic SI work as well they cost about $70 each.

04-05 work on the AP1 and as mentioned are cheaper. Not 1/5 of the cost though. More like half comparing the same source to the same source. Amayama was a lot cheaper as well but their stuff just skyrocketed.

06+ is a resistor coil. Factory service manual warns against using an 06+ coil on 00-05 cars

How can i visually tell the difference between the two?

I have a set that I know for sure are not AP1 packs - i've seen those picture differences.

They have
Denso 099700-070
based on my searching and its use with accords K20s etc. etc. i'm going to guess that this is an 04-05 set?

Why is that?

Do the 06+ coils put off a hotter spark being a resistor type?
