Default Coil Wires

I needs some help, I am ready to install my BAS, and I'm not sure where to do the wiring.

Once I figure out the wires, I'll do another how-to for future members, but in the meantime I'm trying to figure out whats what.

It has one power output wire that more or less provides additional voltage to the coils.

W/that said, there is 3 wires that go into the plug that goes into the coil, I'm not sure if I have to tap into each individual power wire, or there is one wire that I can tap into.

Anyone have any information?

Thanks!!

Thats a good question but if the BAS only has one output wire, I would say that you need to find the one main wire to the coils and put it on that. If the BAS had four different output wires, then you would put one wire to each coil.

It has one output wire.

I spoke w/Jeff Evans, and he said he uses a 4 --> 1 connector. I'll have to check that out and see if I can round on up, if not it may be tricky.

The harness goes back behind the valve cover/firewall and is darn near impossible to get to w/the motor in.

So the only way I can think is to get to the individual wires.

I think they are black/yellow stripe. 3 go to each plug/coil.

Anymore input anyone?

Not retarded, lol.

KB Boost a Spark.

Basically an MSD box, helps boost(amp) the coil drivers.

I was blowing spark out about 24lbs w/my meth injection, so hopefully this will solve that.

Pretty much. I also have the BAP (boost a pump).

It overdrives the fuel pump for extra fuel delivery when needed.

Here is the schematics out of my 00-03 service manual. Don't know if 05 is different, but I wouldn't think it would be.
