Looks pretty mean Arnold! Sure would like to know more details about your build (in particular power goals).

Unfortunately it is very early to offer any speculation on power goals. The plan is to make a consistent and effective chassis mated to some of the most proven race parts out there. As I always have done I will share as much information as I possibly can on the build withing a competitive parameter. I am very happy as to the pace the project is going, but not the pace of the money it is costing me..lol. What I had before was a street car, this is no way a street car. It is being purpose built to accomplish several goals i set out. It will be a fun year. Good luck to all those on their projects.

Looks awesome. What classes are you looking to compete in?

I have a couple more options as far as classes because of the way I built the car. Stock chassis (not back halved), stock front suspension, etc.

Switching over to strut style front suspension pretty much bumps you into outlaw type classes, and back halving a car keeps you out of all the "street" type classes.

Your car will be legal for Hot Rod in NSCRA because I'm pretty sure you still have stock suspension up front right? By stock, I mean stock style.

for the most part all the s2000s being built are on different class platforms so it will be very difficult to ever get a match race. I built the car to compete in several different classes with NSCRA,IFO, World Cup and possibly shakedown. All those sanctions are aware of the build and working with us on the requirements.

As for match races with other s2000s...we might just have to keep it with weight adjustments based on chassis/engine size.

At the end of the day the car is being built for getting a record. The baddest 4 cylinder door slammer on the planet has always been Rau's mitsu..I think it is time a Honda get that..It will be adjusted later for the classes. I learned my lesson already about building cars within restrictions..

Yes Carey the front suspension is "stock like", Tom from NRG is working on that as well as the rear suspension with SkinnyKid.
Jose Bello and Chris Miller are building the race motors. These motors will run both Gas and Alcohol depending on the class. James at BMC is building the intake manifold. Ed from Force Fed is doing the turbo manifold..

Just trying to have a little fun and my son enjoys seeing the wheelies..

Asides from this I am also building my other s2000 (black) with a compound turbo setup to run on e85..these are fun cars and we should share that excitement with others.

Best wishes as always to everyone.lol, I am very far from a politician..

We've seen what Red Star ran with something under 1000rwhp. Their suspension seems dialed in. So, to me it depends more on how fast you want to run. In order for Red Star to make it to the next "level", they will need more power. I am very interested to see how far you go with this build!
