How much time (per day or week) is being devoted to this build? How many different people are working on it? Do you have all the required parts on hand or are there more waiting to be ordered/received?

Sorry...just trying to understand the level of effort and timetable better.

There are few people involved full time on the bullid. It was a complete teardown and rebuilding of a 25.3 chassis. A lot of time was spent on keeping the car with a stock bodylines while making it legal to run the times. Most parts or either on the car, in boxes or in production. Motor one is complete with motor two and three coming along.

But time wise I don't have pressing timelines, just want it built right.

You don't have companies that you established team arrangements with anxious for you to get out there and compete?

no because there is zero sponsorship.. I rather build it knowing it was done as properly as possible. I would like to get it done but there are many thresholds we are crossing with this build.

Has the chassis been certified yet? Up to what time will it be certified to?

not yet. Sub 7.49 secs max 2800lbs-25.1E (not 25.3 as i mentioned earlier). It will pass. Several chassis builders have already inspected it. Once some last items are complete I will have it certified. I usually wait on this because i like having as much time with the cert rather than the car sitting with a valid cert.

Good idea. I usually have a tech guy look at mine, and give it a "pre cert" verbally, then wait until it's painted and almost ready to go before actually getting it tagged. Sucks having to recert a chassis before even taking it down the track...lol.

Some people dont't understand why it takes these builds so long to come out... I'm doing my build with zero sponsorships also. So I totally get the no deadline cause I would rather it be done correctly and get the results I want when it does hit the track!
