Did you have to drill new holes to mount it?

Any other mods to make it fit?

Before/after comparisons of IAT to see how much things improved?
It was not a direct bolt on. Just had universal brackets to mount it with.
The end brackets are kinda flimsy but has been fine for months now.
I put this on when I first installed the kit so have no comparisons or anything. I am sure it helps though. Much larger surface area on the heat exchanger.

Yeah $1000 for a SOS heat exchanger and larger pump is a hell of a chunk. I'm all about making brackets to make a $150 version do the same job. Picking up a universal Bosch pump or something equivalent I'm sure could be found at 2/3 the price of SOS's. Just depends how much money you have and leg work you want to do. For those that have done the leg work and share it with the community is what its all about though. Goes much appreciated

My SoS upgraded heat exchanger was about 400ish plus taxes. Mods heat exchanger looks damn near exactly like the SoS one!

Are you using earls lines for the plumbing?

It had 12 AN welded on fitting on the one I bought I believe. Had to buy those separately to attach the stock vortech coolant lines.

Chris, as Kyushin stated, it should be about $400 for the upgraded SOS HX. If one were to upgrade at the same time when purchasing their SC, it's $70 less.

I picked up an upgraded Bosch pump for mine (OEM application for Cobras/Lightnings) for 100 dollars on Flea Bay. A bit over 5 GPH versus 3 for the stock Comptech pump.

Hmm thought I just seen a link in the SOS thread for $899 for the upgraded heat exchanger kit. Hope I'm mistaken....that's allot of cash.
