It looks like a Jabsco Parmax 3. That fits the bill for a 12V DC marine application which is rated at 3.5 GPM.

Anyone?

I heard these pumps aren't that great. Why not just upgrade it now?

The Jabsco one is great. We had a Vortech pump crap out. Not sure what they use.

Prefer the CRS water pumps Higher capacity/flow especially good if you are using a large front heat exchanger on your air to water like me.

He have a larger exchanger already.
I was looking for a direct replacement as they are fairly compact and lightweight.

Just stop by your local VW dealer, with pump in hand.
They will trace the part number and probably have it in stock.
it is known as an "after run coolant pump" and it came on many years of jetta.

Did you try what the last poster suggested? I would think that is what worked for Asura since he didn't post again. Or PM him and see what he found. Is this a common problem with the Comptech kits?
