According to this thread...

I'll be fine with running a 4.0" pulley to get roughly 7psi on an aftercooled kit. I can just mess with the FPR and will be fine.

According to this thread..

I will need the Gatorback 4060390 belt, as seen here.

Can anyone please confirm this before I order?

Thanks!
I can confirm that 4060390 will work with a 4.0" pulley, but with that pulley you will be on the very limits of the stock fuel system. You will want to monitor the A/F very carefully.

I am running 5.5 - 6 psi with a front mount using that pulley, with the after cooler I would guess that you would get 7-7.5 psi.

Even with 5.5 - 6 you will notice a huge difference from stock. Its up to you if you want to push the limits of the stock kit.

You can get any pulley size you want from ASP

Thanks for the response. It seems that I can just bump up the fuel pressure and be fine with the 4" on a stock kit. I may just run a 4.25" for now though just to be safe. Later this summer, I plan on gettng bigger injectors, ~3.4-3.6" pulley, EMS/tune and pushing for ~350whp.

For now, since I need to buy a new pulley for AP2 anyways, I figured I might as well buy the smallest pulley I can run safely. I'm on the fence now between pushing it at 4" or staying relatively stock at 4.25". May just do 4.25" to avoid the headache.

I am having an A/F gauge installed, so I'll be using that to monitor my AFR until I get it on a dyno in a couple months.

Goldenfri, are you running the Comptech kit? Was it Aftercooled? Which FMIC did you go with? Notice any big gains over stock? I'm considering a FMIC along with my injectors/tune/EMS later on, as long as there are gains to be made (and I think FMIC look bad ass).

Thanks!

I am running the comptech kit. I was running no aftercooler before and put down 270-290 to the rear wheels depending on the temperature outside, it would quickly heat soak like crazy. I now have the Ultimate racing front mount, but have not re-dynoed it. I kept the PSI close to stock though so that I could keep the FPR for now.

Just want to double check...

The pulleys for the Paxton Novi 1000, 6 rib, on HPFreaks and superchargersonline, will fit the Paxton used in the Comptech kit

Silly question, but I just want to make sure, because they list it for Mustangs and such.

Can I have an update on this since CT-Engineering nor SOS carry original sized pulleys? Meh I am buying Comptech SC kit with no Pulley and need the stock 5.5-6psi Pulley to make it work.

SeanSerino, what did you end up going with? Thanks!
