I just brought this car down from nebraska with a comptech SCAC and I decided to dyno it at work on a superflo. I only made 220whp and I was wordering if something could be wrong with the car. The car also showed to be leaning out after 6,000 RPM.The only strange part is it drives fine, no detonation and holds dead even with a Stage 2 '06 STI. I was wondering may be if the belt could be slipping or plugs could be bad. The dyno was just calibrated last week. Any comments are useful.

No other mods, stock exhaust, I haven't yet pulled the plugs to look at them. Mileage is at 22,000 10k with the blower.

 

What was the max PSI you were seeing on the dyno?

 

22,000 on a MY00 WOW. Somebody needs to start driving that thing.
You should post the sheet so everyone can see the A/F and other things that may help to determine the low whp output.

 

Either the cars not properly tuned, or the boost is set real low or leaking.

 

My FI is stock comptech, nothing else but bolt and go. Is the belt slipping? Boost on dyno?

 

check your plugs, when i went to dyno mine, it pulled out a 273 whp untuned, then jumped down to about 170 because the sparkplugs disintegrated.. we changed to new spark plugs on the spot and ran it again and hit 287

 

i dont think 220 whp will keep up with a stage 2 STi... i say the dyno is busted

 

I would check the plugs, boost leak test, if these come out good then I would say that the dyno is off.
