Default Comptech S/C

There's a good deal going on right now for Comptech S/C's, I wasn't planning on going FI but I want 300whp and I should get that just bolting on the kit, but do I need anything else to safely run this setup besides what comes with the kit? Engine managment, Injectors, etc? Will I pass Smog testing with this kit?

Do it! It's like buying a new car. If you can afford the extra expense of an AEM and injetors, you'll be good for 350rwhp.....

enjoy!

Funny you should post this. That deal - and the price - has made me consider going this route waaay sooner than I ever thought I would. I'm just trying to research what impact this would have if I track the car and run high rpm (and hence boost) for 20-30 minutes. I'm guessing not much if installed correctly - very tempting... Still have some more posts to go through and a need to call Comptech...but so far everything points out that done right, this kit is very safe and a lot of fun in the S2000.

Now can anyone tell when does the mod madnes stop I've got Volks CE28 Mercury Silver on order (17"), KW V3, and Comptech ant-sway - I'd only planned on tweaking the suspension (done this on a few other cars so know what I like - just need to get the S2K tuned), but this is awful tempting...

How much boost will it take to get you near the 350 hp range? WHat size injectors?

i am very happy with the stock performance but this is a good deal and I can't imagine how much fun it would be with an extra 100whp.
