Default Comptech S/C interchangeable?

Are the Comptech S/C w/ aftercooler kits interchangeable between AP1 and AP2. I know they have specifically different links for the different years, but was not sure if they were actually different or not?

So basically if I buy one from an AP2 for my AP1, will it fit properly and run the same?

Thanks

-Michael

How about install, did it go smoothly? Anything different you needed to do maybe?

The only thing different between the AP1 and AP2 kits is the supercharger pulley. If you buy an AP2 kit for your AP1, you'll need a larger pulley to run stock boost. The AP2 pulley will bump boost from the stock 5.5psi to about 7psi.

So with the larger pulley, would it be better to buy some sort of engine management, or would it be fine to run the higher boost without an ems?

I'm running the AP2 pulley non aftercooled on my AP1 making 8.2 pounds of boost with no problems.

There will be zero problems, just be sure to get the car tuned via the comptech FMU via a tuner.

Hey TRBOKEV, how long did it take your tuner to tune the FMU? And did they run into any problems while tuning?

And Swift2000, did you tune your s/c kit as well since you have the AP2 pulley on there?
