Default Comptech S/C and Spark Plugs

I have the Copmtech kit and using stock plugs. I have the NGK V Power 10's but I gaped them to the same as the stock plugs and it ran like crap, so there out.

1. Will they work or should I get different ones?

2. what should the be gaped to?

3. What should the plugs be torqued to?

Thanks

I am personally using the NGK Coppers (Part Number 7173) gapped at .035". Everything is so far so good
Torque them down to 222in/lbs, or better known as 18.5ft/lbs

I believe NGK 7173 are "V-power" plugs. I just don't know what "10s" are.

This may have been one of the main problems. You need a smaller gap for F.I.

A 10 heat range is 3 steps colder than a stock plug. They would not be the reccomended plug for this application. Go pick up some NGK 7173's, which are 1 range colder at 8.

What would you gap them at, .035"? And is this the spark plug you recommend for supercharger application and daily driver:

I'm also curious, I need to get new plugs asap.
Thanks

From the searches I have performed here and questions to others, I got some Denso IK-24s. Some have reported disintegration issues with these plugs. So, I have concerns about recommending them to anyone running FI.

I also understand that you must stay far away from the platinum plugs. Copper and Iridium are the only viable options. Whatever plug you choose, with a minimum boost application, get the one step cooler then stock and gap to ~ .035"

^ Thanks for the site. It does not list that spark plug for a S2000. If there a lot of members using that plug (NGK 7173)? Just want to find the best plug for SC that is daily driven.
Thanks
