Thumbs up Comptech S/C w/AC and Tuning?

Is tuning needed with Comptech S/C, A/C, Header and exhaust? If so, what is recommended for tuning, (AEM, AFC)? Or does Comptech's S/C kit come with needed tuning?

If you're worried about it, have the air/fuel checked. You may need nothing or you might just need to have the fuel pressure tweaked. This can be done with the existing Comptech fuel pressure reg.

You dont need ecu tuning. Everything you mentioned is all bolt on and go. To be safe you can get it dynoed for a/f check like xviper said.

Its mainly for safety, but most of the guys here with the kit have never tuned theirs and everyone is still running strong.

Comptech kit a/c 7 psi pulley. Stock is about 5 1/2. Had it dynoed and turned up the fuel pressure regulator.

Are you satisfied or would you recommend going turbo? I have about $10,000 to spend this week on my S2000 that I got yesturday and don't know what to go with. I sold my 95 NSX to get a S2000 and I would like to make it faster than my NSX. Do you think I would be satisfied with a S/C?

Give me 5000 and spend the other 5 on the s/c.

S/C more reliable. Turbo tuned right is faster, but turbo maintence is a pain. It needs a lot more tuning.

It will be faster than your NSX if driven right. The NSX had a bit more torque.
