Default Comptech SC with FMIC
Ok i have a comptech kit(novi 1000) with the UR FMIC and HKS SSQV III. at idle there is no air coming out of the BOV. Is that normal? and when i drive the BOV works but it chatters. Is that also normal?

Interesting set up. Please post some pics? How do you know no boost is coming out?

No boost at idle is normal for this type of supercharger. Chatter is normal while driving if it is working correctly. All is good.

I have the same setup and the same problem with chatter. The novi blows more air than a turbo. The solution was to install a second bov.
About the boost at idle, mine blows. make sure that the bov remains open.

The chatter is only when part throttle and with IC. Since there's more volume of air due to the IC tank and piping and the fact that the SC boost is always "ready to hit" it makes that noise. It's normal.

Chatter is not normal. On a dyno you will see that the excess amount of air returns to the air filter. That's not normal.
