Supercharger will typically make the gas mileage worse. My gas mileage has stayed just about the same as before I supercharged as long as I don't beat on it. It is a completely different story when I do

I have a CTSC and I can confirm the decrease in mileage. This is due to the phenomenon known as keepurfootonthefloor. Theoretically a turbo will increase your mileage, but the same phenomenon exists with a turbo as well.

The parasitic drag from the supercharger makes it impossible for your gas mileage to improve. It will probably be worse. For me, it went from 20 mpg to 18 mpg.

SC has added parasitic loss from turning another accessory (the blower) A turbo doesn't, in fact the turbo can help if driven in the proper fashion.

The only way you will NOT lose gas mileage (Keep it the same as NA.) or see SOME sort of improvement under regular day to day driving is due to your tune.

WHen I baby my car I get almost identical mileage as NA would. My guess is that SC causes more strain and eats gas, but my tune probably helps so it evens out. Yes No?

Either way once you are on the throttle, which you will be for sure since you SC now... It will eat gas like no tomorrow.

i have gotten as good as 27-28 mpg top up ac off. highway average is 24-25 mpg city 18-20 mpg it depends on how you drive how fast you spin your blower i'm at 7 psi and i believe a high flow blow off valve helps to lessen drag when you're not in the gas
