Lightbulb Comptech Supercahrger Information

Hello this is my first post, and I am looking for information.
I purchased a 2003 S2000 with a comptech supercharger kit on it. The elbow that goes from the air filter to the supercharger is worn out. Someone had it rubbing, and there is almost a hole.
Attached is a photo of the elbow I need, and I will get one more close up next time. I already emailed ct engineering twice with no response, so I was wondering if anyone knows of a replacement part, or anywhere I can find a comptech one.

Thank You!

All this is the ARM to a filter for the supercharger to let in HOT air. I say Hot air as it's pulling air from your hot RAD. this isn't the best design.

Here is a topic what someone did for the question you just asked
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-fo...-blows-744992/

I would just go on ebay and get a new hose that fits or even build a heat box over the intake.

Any size pipe can be cut

Make sure you get the right size this is what the kraftworks guys do.

If you buy a CT icebox intake (which is still being sold new by...some vendor that took over this product when CT shut down, someone remind us who that vendor is...), you can connect that to blower intake to greatly reduce hot air intake problem.

But you would still need an elbow hose to go from icebox to blower.

If you want to keep the exposed filter, then the exact size and shape of the elbow is not really critical at all. Doesn't matter if filter sits a few inches left or right, fwd or back. So elbow from SOS kit or other should work. I imagine even just a generic 90 degree silicone hose and a section of pipe could be made to work.

Thank you for the reply, but they don't have an intake that would fit with the supercharger. They also don't have it listed under supercharger components.

Thank you for the quick response. I am starting to think the only way to do this right is by fabricating something myself.

I have a carbon fiber box for it I just removed it for the photo, I am just concerned that the intake hose will get a hole rubbed in it since the previous owner had it rubbing on the radiator fan. I also don't want a crazy tig welded tube that my smog tech is going to fail. I live in CA, and this kit is CARB legal...
Thanks to everyone for the feedback so quickly.

Find some kind of silicone material and fill/repair it.

Didn't realize you're facing a carb legal scenario.

I agree if it isn't yet an actual through hole, and its not in an unsightly location, just fix the rubbing issue and fill hole with black 100% silicone caulk. Done.

$5 home depot fix.

Wipe of excess caulk, then wrap the hose with wax paper and some rubber bands (remove hose from car), so to repair ends up smooth and level with the rest of hose.

Give hole a good clean before you start.

Maybe use this too:
Amazon, 3M adhesion promotor Amazon, 3M adhesion promotor

Its certainly worth a try at a fix, since its low $, relatively low effort, and it doesn't really matter if hose gets ruined (not that is at all likely), since you were going to replace it anyway.
