Comptech Supercharger on an otherwise stock AP2
This should be an easy question, but I can't find anything through my search.
There's tons of info on the boards about the CTSC on an AP1, but I have an AP2 (MY2004) and am thinking of going with the Comptech unit. I'm having a little trouble finding power numbers and boost numbers on the boards though. I know that to increase the boost on an AP1, a lot of members use the pully from the AP2 kit. Does that mean that on an AP2 the stock kit is putting out more power at a higher psi?
On an AP2 with no other mods, what peak psi numbers and peak wheel horsepower numbers should one expect with the Comptech Supercharger (no aftercooler) installed?

Horsepower gains are near the 70whp mark.
I think AP1 has the same boost as AP2 but AP2 has 1000Rpm less so there is a smaller pulley to get the same PSI at 8k than at 9k on ap1.So if you put a AP2 pulley on AP1 you get 1kRpm more and more boost.
My suggestion
Buy the SC,put a Catback for the sound(Hks) and buy a AF meter to know what your AF ratios are.If they are good than Everything is Ok and if not you would have to buy a VAFC or Emanage to put the AF at the right place.
SC and AF gauge are the Must everything else is No necessary.
Anyway i Got only 59Whp with My SC and i had a Testpipe and Catback...
stock trim seems to get the Most power...
Boost is at 5.6psi depending on Weather...Hotter-lower..colder-higher boost.
And one last thing,You will Enjoy the SC and first-time Off you would think that the S2000 should have came with it from Factory.
You will be Very happy...
And you will have a Big Smile on your Face...
Install it yourself if you can..

i have a MY2004 w/ a comptech W/ AC. it was dynoed twice w/ the stock exhaust and cat, once in the summer. temp was 94F and once in the winter temp 52F. summer dyno was 279whp and winter was 290whp. stock whp in the summer was 202. the car was dynoed on a dynojet. hope that helps.

That does help, thanks. Basically it seems that a supercharged AP1 is putting down about the same as a supercharged AP2, which makes sense. I put down 205.4whp bone stock in my AP2, and I'd be delighted with around 280whp after supercharging.

Thanks for posting the dyno graphs though, that really helps!
