Default Comptech supercharger upgrade

Im currently running the stock pulley for the comptech supercharger. i'm planning to upgrade it soon. I have the 1000 novi.

What should i buy for the upgrade and what pulley size? will i be able to tune it with a piggy back or do i need to get a full standalone?

Get a full standalone ecu. You'll also need clutch, injectors, 3 or 4 bar map sensor and wideband and boost gauge would be a very good idea if you don't have them already.

The pulley size depends on how much more boost you would like to run as well. I'm not familiar with how much PSI each pulley would produce but here's a link for the belt sizes and common pulley sizes

I used to think SOS pulley chart/psi chart was off. Well, It's not. Check their website.
Any Novi1000 specific questions I can answer due to almost a 3 year experience with it now. Junky is Novi1000 guru tho.

But just to give you an idea with AP2 I seen the following numbers...

4" = 7psi
3.4" = 9psi
3.2" = 11psi

All confirmed by me. All worked with stock map sensor, 600cc injectors, and E-manage. If you can go full standalone then do that.

Next year I will do 3" pulley.

I ran 11 psi with rc650cc injectors and an emu but a standalone with give you better control over the tune and better throttle response I currently run 13psi and aem v1 id1000 injectors. if you go over 8-9 psi you will need to look into a clutch good luck

To make it worth while you have to go real small on the pully and doing that you should be running EMS.
The ap1 with novi 1000 is a weak combo. The larger blowers make more power. I have been throu a few setups and I like what Im at now. Check my sig

PM me if you have any questions. AP1 with original Novi 1000 kit - now aftercooled making 410 wheel

I really hate to jump in and ask randomly but I feel my question could be answered here.

I have been racing my same build on my S at the track only for a year or more as in my sig, I was going K24 swap but I found a deal on the comptech supercharger I am purchasing.

Honestly just looking to see your guys opinion, do's and dont's?

My mechanic and I basically brainstormed quickly. heres the write up trying to keep it in a budget yet want to run correctly.

Thank you.

don't need the cams, head gasket, TB, header or head work.
