Default Comptech supercharger W/BOV

Had a quick question..from my understanding the comptech kit comes with a bypass valve which recirculates the pressure back into the intake..I was wondering instead of using a bypass and using a bov instead to release to atmosphere...would that decrease the performance?

thats the wrong attitude to have around here. nobody will help you if keep talking like that.

you can replace your stock bosch blow off valve with a fancy aftermarket one if you'd like. it wont hurt anything.

however, it wont please the inner ricer in you either because in most cases you will not hear it. superchargers dont work like turbochargers - so you wont be able to annoy your neighbors with the pesky pssshhh sound every 3 seconds.

if you have an aftercooled comptech setup you can bolt up a godzilla blow off valve directly to it. they are not cheap but they are actually very nice valves. i have one for sale if you'd like.

I have a GReddy Type S BOV on my AC CTSC. TelosHedge is right- you will hardly hear it, but the sound is there.

I did this mod in an effort to clean up the engine bay a little.

Amen on lose the atitude. I think s.hasan was giving you his answer and telling you that corroborating evidence is available if you search. Folks here with a few exceptions are helpful! I know they have been to me.
