You might be the only one man. Everyone I've ever heard to talk about Vortech and customer service all agree its pretty much non existant. Calling them with an install question is an act of faith and later futility.
He's not alone. I have had nothing but good service from Vortech in the two and a half years that I've had my supercharger.

Also the HP numbers between Comptech and Vortech are almost exactly the same. Different dyno's and different days all equal different results. But you knew that right?
I believe a stock Comptech SC boost only at 5 lbs unless you change them to a smaller pulley to get more boost(which will void the warranty)....so they create lesser horsepower than Vortech SC which has 7to8lbs. of boost
You're right though about different dynamometer and diff. temperature will cause different readings on horsepower on your car. But I like the most is the Dynapack though....reads more horsepower and no tire slippage.

About customer service...I never have problem. Probably it's how you talk to them(like talking to their bosses or engineers) as a matter of fact when I returned my car's blower to exhange for another quiet one and after three days thinking they might have it already...called them up and he said he'll expedite it and will do UPS overnite...guess what the next day I have it my door step. And also when I'm tightening the oil feeding brass inlet....suddenly it split in half and broke off. I called Vortech...replaced it for free but I have to pay for shipping though but then the next day I have it. No hassle.

You guys are crazy. Vortech makes superchargers for all types of cars whereas Comptech specializes in superchargers for Hondas/Acuras. My money is on a company that produces products specifically for our cars, and not a whole variety of them.
However, Vortech has been in business for many many years so they know what they are doing. I chose vortech because of that.

However, customer service sucks more than my exgirlfriend ever did.

Is he?

FOR THE DUMMIES (you know who you are) or maybe you don't.

Vortech have made a donation to an S2ki related charity. This thread is to give them their justly deserved browny points. That's all.

Final Active Broadcast.

That wasn't my question. My question was, what's a point?
