I've had it about 3 months...

I just checked and the wires are just crimped...

I guess I'll try taking it somewhere to have the wires soldered... I'm not really good with that kinda stuff...

Call Comptech and have them send you some of the new solder crimps. These are heat shrink crimps that have a solder ring that will melt and ensure a good electrical connection. You just need a heat gun - that is what they ship with all the new kits.
