It seems like you've pretty much got your mind made up, in that you're going to move forward with the engine swap. Good luck with your ride, and definitely keep us posted on your progress.

$3,960 including turbo kit, clutch, gauges, UEGO, HFC, and tune - but you need to do your own wrenching.

Use your money on tools and an auto shop class or two - you'll be much better off in the long run.

Pick up a good complete used Comptech or VT kit. $2800-3000. Get a used E-manage or EMS. $400-800 And run it 10psi. Good tractable power. If you want killer response, upgrade your flywheel to an 8lb Findanza $300 and do the cluch at the same time. $500. Run SOS TB $250. Tune $500

Have someone do the clutch/flywheel for you if your not equipped. But just about anyone should be able and willing to do their SC instillation. It can be reasonably done over a weekend if you stick with it.

Well, with the motor swap you will lose all your stock gauge functions (ie speedo, tach) I would get a nice turbo kit or s/c kit to be honest. With the Greddy kit (approx 290rwhp) I had instant boost and torque but ran out of top end power. I was running 13.5@103 due to heat soak with that setup. Since, I have upgraded to an inline pro manifold and downpipe (400 used), Turbosmart 38mm WG (220 new), Ultimate Racing oil filter relocation (300 new), and a Godspeed intercooler piping kit (130 new, 300 with intercooler), Precisions 5965E turbo (800 new, but would recommend the B cover so you dont need to notch the frame like I did) and put down 345rwhp 214ft/lbs on 10 psi. You can get a Godspeed turbo kit for 2500 and all you would need extra is a set of injectors and engine management.. Just my .02

lolz @ 2JZ or 1JZ swap being cheaper than a SC or Turbo setup on an already existing F20c.
