Default couple quick questions... help please

I plan on getting a turbo kit soon and i wanna run about 9psi, stock block with just a headgasket and tuning. I plan on getting greddy emanage ultimate, my question is, i want to get rc injectors 550cc, now do i get saturated or non will 550cc be enough for 9psi?or do you recommend a different injector ? And will this work with Greddy Emanage Ultimate?

Another question i have is how are the 3mm cometic headgaskets? do you guys have issues with them?

any info is appreciated thanks!

I would go with 650cc or 750cc so you have some head room.

Yes there are problems they will not last as long as the factory.

u dont need to run a Headgasket with anything lower than about 12-13 psi. for 9 psi just keep everything stock. and get 750cc injectors.

Agreed, call evans tuning and they can supply injectors for your application with plug and play clips...forget HG. Yes some folks have had issues with cometic HG. I would go inline pro HG if I had to get one but again, you will make more hp with no HG at that psi level and be safe.

You will not need to add an HG for your goals and it would not be recommended. I would recommend pulling the head and replacing the valves and spring retainers and unless they have to mill a lot of material off to get the deck flush just get a new gasket from Honda. If you have a chance do a search on combustion chamber quench and some of the other issues other than HG longevity associated with adding a thicker gasket. You can always run race gas or meth to achieve the power you are looking for on the stock compression.

As for injectors, I would say 650

^^^ He's planning on 9 psi so the 550's are more then enough and will support up to aprox 12psi, they will be easier to tune for a better operation with his mentioned emanage tuning device as well. I think 650-750cc for his application is poor advice.

There is some used RC 550's with pnp clips in the classifieds for $260. I would be all over these right now if I were the OP.

The first problem is the Emanage, using 550cc's he will easily max out the fuel adjustment. For instance I worked on a AP1 Greddy car at 10 PSI with no cat, full exhaust and 2.2 liter and he maxed out the adjustment up to Vtec then after that we had plenty to work with.

Secondly 650cc injector are nearly maxed out at 425 HP using a static 0.55 BSFC, Variable VE Efficacy and actual conditions yielded from actual dyno
