Cracked Manifold
I've read several threads on people experiencing cracked manifolds. Is this something that is going to happen eventually with a turbo setup? How long do they generally last let's say running 350whp on this car? I'm not trying to bash any particular kit, but more like a question as to why it seems to be the major complaint of aftermarket setups. Is there a way to ensure it doesn't happen over a reasonable period of time?
I've read mixed reviews on cermaic coating, so I'm thinking that's more of a personal preference.

If the manifold is made of heavy gauge stainless, it should be good for the life of the car.
If it's cheap ebay turbo kits, doubtful.
I am selling my greddy kit with newer SS manifold and fresh ceramic coating if interested.
I have had all of my turbo kits ceramic coated to help keep the temps down under the hood. Zero issues.
Generally people complain about ceramic coating if the shop sprays it inside the piping (which is not a good idea, because if it were to flake off inside, it would go straight through your turbo). You can ask your ceramic coater to not spray the insides if it worries you.

Ensuring the manifold is properly braced is a good failsafe. However, different designs call for different solutions.
Don't read too far into the threads on this forum if they don't dive deep. A lot of people post and do not write comprehensive arugments to proprely inform the reader. Next thing you know, half the FI forum is running 3 mm spongecakes between their blocks & heads.
