Ive been running the same Lovefab Mini manifold for over 2 years now and it just cracked at the turbo flange. these came as a recirc. system, but i modded mine to be open and further prevent cracking. so now my options are to weld this mani and brace it (thoughts on bracing?) or find another mani that will put the turbo in the exact same place. So what are your opinions on bracing the turbo/mani and or welding it up or what one can i get that will put the turbo in the same place.

Put that thing on the trash and buy a new one, i originally bought a kit from lovefab back in the day with this manifold ( cracked 3 times withing 5k miles ) Cody "owner" welded the manifold twice and the third one he came up with excuses, so after expending so much in labor, i just went with a new custom topmount manifold.

Same spot twice with a GT35r and 62/62

Cody welded this bracket the second time to "prevent" that.

 

Wow that Mani looks like crap. I wouldn't even think mine came from the same place

 

just invest in a new mani and downpipe

 

when a manifold crack and you try to reweld it most likely it will crack in the same spot almost right away
