Default CT SC ESM install assistance

Well I have a two part question and am looking for some help with the questions and any input you have as far as recommendations or experiences would be great.

I am intalling a used CT SC but the CT ESM instructions were not included and I couldn't find any with some searches, so would be great to know where those 3 wires go.

Also I have a vafc2 from my old n/a set up and was planning on using this to help in some of the fuel refinement and vtec settings for now before stepping in to a stand alone. In searching for the esm instructions I found some old threads on using a vfac and the esm together and am now pretty confused about what the consensus is using these together and how they are supose to be wired in. I do have a frog harness with my vafc so that should reduce the complications.

Thanks in advance guys!

just use the frog harness with the vafc and wire up the ESM as you would regularly to the OEM ECU Harness.

Small world ok so I take it that I have to splice into my factory harness with this ESM or how do I install? I have no directions.

haha, just install the ESM as you would regularly, as shown here.

and then use your frog harness as you would regularly.

solder those bad boys! If they come loose your car will not run. Ask me how I know.

Yeah I soldered mine, but I was pretty much just replicating another diagram I found.

This should not be an option, but mandatory. You don't want to trust butt connectors or twisting wire with electrical tape for connections made at the ECM. If you can, get some shrink tubing as well.

We normally solder/heat shrink any electrical connections. However, the original CT kit came with really nice crimp/solder/shrink connectors that you use with a heat gun. It even included two that were larger on one end (for two wires) and smaller on the other end (for one wire) for the two splice connections. Since those are long gone, just solder and heat shrink.
