CTSC Bypass Valve
So a few months back the vband clamp on my Godzilla BOV broke for some reason. I didn't feel like dealing with such a BOV that seals with a vband clamp instead of a weld so I ended up just switching to the Comptech bypass valve instead. When I first installed the bypass valve, I would hear it howling when I was above ~4,500 rpm and the car was in vaccuum according to my boost gauge. Is it normal to hear that howling? Or is that just how it sounds when it's being broken in (I bought it brand new)? I'm wondering because I don't hear it howling when the car is in vaccuum anymore, and I checked to make sure that the vaccuum line was still intact and that there are no leaks in the system. I want to ensure the bypass valve is functioning properly because I am upgading to a 10psi pulley soon.
btw the Godzilla is for sale.
thanks!

those bosch valves are not the greatest. The "honking" was notorious on some audis with those valves. The best one is the one with the part # ending in 710N as it has the stiffest spring. it was made for the 225 hp Audi TT. I used that on my A4 with big turbo kit and it has held up for years of 22 psi. The porsche version part # ends in 110 and that one is good too, but I think it's just a pricier version of the 710N I mentioned.
