Default CTSC, how reliable?

i was wondering how reliable you guys think the comptech supercharger is for the s2000. i was wondering how much power is too much for the s2000. i've read that keeping the boost set where comptech has set it is probably the best. especially with gaining between 70- 100rwhp. i wanted to know if that would last for a while. i know a lot of people will say, "depends how you drive the car." and im thinkin mainly cruising under vtec, but also openin it up once in a while. possible catching a few races. most of the hard runs may be on the auto cross or road coarse. so any help would be appreciated.

i tried searching for the numbers, but no success yet.

i think your clutch will go out way before the supercharger will. the comptech kit is very reliable. my car has about 70,000+ miles on it 4 years were super charged no problems yet.
as far as the amount of power it all up to how much time money and effort you want to invest.

so im guessing the stock pulley that comes with the comptech super charger will keep it super reliable and the longevity should be long. and thats with adding about 75-100rwhp.

Mine has been dead reliable for more than 20k miles, too... I wouldn't worry about reliability. I just switched to an EMS and a smaller pulley...I'll post my experiences whenever I get around to finish tuning (probably spring).

Some of the early kits had problems with bracket failures, but most CTSC problems are not catastrophic.
