Default Custom laminova bracket

Turned out ok I think, I really want to send this prototype off and have it made and perfected In billet aluminum. We made this out of raw steel from the hardware store.. Haha, kinda heavy. It places the cooler inline with the lower hose with only a few tweaks. Oil lines should be easy to run. Let me know what you guys think! Sorry pictures are from iPhone.

Very nice, I have wanted to do this for a LONG time. I was moving more twords the PWR dual cicuit radiator though.

Keep us up todate on this bad boy. Isn't Mase going to be there soon?

I actually have the 55mm PWR radiator on here. Just decided not to run the lines to the radiator and run them only to the laminova. In my head I was thinking that would keep the radiator functioning more effeciently.



u can see the PWR logo in this pic. Can't wait to get this thing wet!!!

if you have a heat exchanger built into the radiator then i would use it. which has priority with the radiator design? engine coolant?

Looks good but I'm warry about putting the cooler inline with the cold side of the radiator. Yes it's ideal for cooling the oil but your going to heat up that coolant a good amount as well. Now instead of "cold" coolant, it's going to be hot as it enters the engine.

Just something to think about.


FWIW, I have mine installed where the stock heat exchanger was installed.

I see what your saying and you have a good point. That's the drawback of water to oil I guess... Coolant is heated up in the process. The built in oil cooler in the radiator would cause the same type of affect, and the coolant would leave the radiator warmer than if not connected. I'm curious to see what the coolant temps will be.

There used to be a dealer in Lake Elsinore Cali, that was the U.S. Distributer at the time. They are no longer handing PWR though, I think the U.S. Distributer is now in Atlanta, GA. You can find the info on the Australian website I think.

The oil / water cooler radiator would only suffer it to a point (depending on how it is setup). I was under the impression it used air to cool oil just as the water did (yes there is some exchange of heat since they are next to each other but they are 2 different units built into one larger unit). Plus the radiator is there to cool down the water in the first place so I don't think there would be that problem anyway.

After looking at your radiator picture I see what you're saying. I still believe it wouldn't be the same though. Your inducing heat after the cooling process where as the radiator induces heat during the cooling process.
