Damage ?

Default Damage ?

I recieved a turbo kit about 2 weeks ago, and before installing I discovered a slight damage during shipping on the intercooler. Just like to get opionion if it is damage or it will alright to mount.[IMG]

performance-wise you should still be good. I don't htink that top rib has any compressed air from the turbocharger flowing through it.

But me personally...I don't think I'd be able to put that on my car knowing that little imperfection... yea yea I know you can get it damaged from driving around too, but knowing that something like this is on there when I first put it on would be something in the back of my mind that would bother me...

Thats just me though

thanks for the response, give me a better feeling. Cap I definately would prefer mint intercooler, but sometimes its better to make progess than wait another week.

you could always call the maker of the turbo kit and negotiate some kind of "pay for a new on and then then credit me when you get the broken one back"

That could get complicated, but then you could get her put together, as much as possible and swap out the IC when you get the new one.
