Default Deciding between Comptech and Vortech kits

Hello everyone

So I'm selling my new Kraftwerks kit to go with something more simple and cheaper. I recently bought two used SC kits on here and trying to decide which one to go with, could use some advice. So between the vortech V2 SC kit and the comptech with the Novi 1000 which would you guys run? The V2 flows more CFM and I have seen higher WHP #'s from the research I've done so far, so I'm leaning more towards it. Thanks in advance

Forgot to mention, when its said and done the vortech kit would cost me about $1700 vs $2200 for the comptech, so cost plays a role also in my decision

I'm biased towards Vortech. And yes, you can get more flow with the Vortech.

I say keep the Vortech, only downside to that is they discontinued the kit from what I remember and getting parts might not be that easy.

I'd keep the comptech because the kit has the option to upgrade to a 1200 blower + the vortech like jojo said is discontinued.

However, if the kits in perfect working order, check the vtech solenoid bracket specifically, and you have no intention of going beyond 400whp, then stick to the vortech

Thanks for responses!!

Both kits will be in perfect working order, the Vortech blower would have a fresh rebuild by vortech at that $1700 price. The comptech blower I wont rebuild and has about 20k miles. As for the parts, I was lucky to find the new parts I needed to complete the vortech kit, I'll make sure to check the solenoid bracket. My power goal is 400ish which is doable with the vortech failry easy I think. Not so much with the comptech unless I upgrade the blower to 1200, for which I would need the main bracket and that with the blower would add quite a bit to the cost. So looks like the vortech is the way to go

Stick with the Vortech and search around for a smaller supercharger pulley to up the psi.

If that's the case then I say upgrade to the 1200 blower because boost can be addictive so you never know when you might want to upgrade lol the 1200 blower with the right pulley can leave a smile on your face

I'm partial to the Vortech, but i never tried the Comptech kit.

Get the smallest pulley(highest psi) you can get, that maxes the blower at red line. The V2 SC-i can spin up to 55,000 I think.

Your kraftwerks kit will get you 400 whp right out of the box? Why not just get rid of the other two?
