Just do a search for correct spark plugs for greddy turbo. There is a lot of good info in the "official Greddy Turbo thread" started by Chris Lum. Get a spark plug gap reader (1-2 bucks at Autozone) and gap the correct plugs to like .032. The tuner should be reading the A/F ratios with the dyno machine, so you don't really need one for tuning, but you should get a wideband anyway to make sure your car is running proper A/F ratios off of the dyno.
Definately look underneith the Emanage to check that you have an AP2 version. I would think those are good places to start.
Good luck!

not sure what the problem could be but i know it is recomennded to run one step colder plugs when running this turbo.... I am runnin NGK laser iridium (#5068) without any problems.. Could give it a try... I know others are using ISO8 Greddy Iridiums with good results as well... comes pre-gapped..
I said what I was running with no problems.... but do the search anyways to see what others are using...

does anyone have the part number for the NGK spark plugs?
You want a heat range 8 plug. I've been using the 5068's, gapped at .038". I think others are using the 7173 copper plug, but check that to make sure.

I had the same problem with my greddy kit. The old plugs must go.

are you using the supplied 550cc injectors or larger?
is the emanage set to those size injectors?
is the voltage clamp on the stock map sensor set correctly?

it could be that the stock ecu is sensing boost and tripping.

on my car when i took it to my local tuner..he didnt set the injector size and i had a messed up afr and missfire like yours except my CEL flashed lol

dunno if that helps but GL

please don't use that 3mm HG with the greddy kit, it will kill your power. I would do a meth injection kit though for saftey and a bit more power but it's not nessesary.

problem solved, its me (THE UBER NOOB!!!)

updated the Greddy E-manage Ultimate with AP2 map...now my car is smooth like butter and revs up to 8k no problem, getting tuned tomorrow, new spark plugs going in...

i also bought another cyclinder head to rebuild for this turbo kit...

supertech 0.5mm stainless steel valve
supertech dual valve spring w/TI retainer
3mm hg
port polish etc

going the safe route and baby my engine...
no its not your fault. that basemap is to get you to the shop safely...the tuner however should be able to change your timing, fuel and monitor your afr so your car can run properly known as tunning

IMO i wouldnt feel comfortable with that tuner touching your car if 1 hes not monitoring your afr on the dyno to start with. 2 should know to adjust the fuel ign timing to get the car to run properly instead of telling you to do other things. hell i can own a dyno and punch in random numbers or even make a few pulls on a base map and call it a tune and take your money without you even knowing that down the line your car goes boom.

just my two cents
