I did this on my friends car, heres the whole write up w/ pics
solution to heat issues

And no a fuse has not blown... knock on wood.

haha. i ended up welding all the holes up on the water pump housing and the end of the fitting that goes into the block.

The solid black coolant bar that runs accross the block and goes to another line under the intake manifold. It may go to the t-stat housing But I haven't dug into that far yet.
