I think there is very little difference in the physical part of the kits except for maybe recommended pulley sizes. AP1's 9000 rpm redline will produce different boost with the same pulley on an 8000 rpm ap2. SO the pulley size for the same amount of desired boost will be slightly different.

Don't know enough about those kits to say how they would work with drive by wire. My roots kit moves the TB so DBW is not compatible, but I don't know how the centerfugal kits hook up. I am guessing if the DBW TB is the same as the non DB then they can be used but have never looked at a DBW car in person to know the difference, so what do I know.

Comptech and SOS kits have a different pulley and a different fuel pressure regulator.

Not sure about Vortech, but it'll be at least a different pulley.

i wouldnt even use the FPR and am aware about the pulley size differences.......... my main concern is if i find a used centrifical sc kit for an ap1 will the blower and plate be able to bolt up with no problems using the same bolt holes and be positioned right. i have an after market intake manifold so i am sure i would have to do a little fabbing to make the aftercooler mock up correctly.

thanks for the input, keep it coming guy!!!!!

^ Vortech and comptech yes they will bolt up the same.

With comptech between the 00-03 and 04-05, the pullies are different the regulator is a little different and he the esm is set differently for each.

With Vortech, the pullies are different and the 2 black boxes are different. In the ap2 kit they added an injector to he aftercooler.

With either of these if your using a different form of management and injectors, these differences won't matter.

Vortech AP1 kit would fit an DBW AP2. There are a few additonal things you will need to do. If you get a standalone than your good with new injectors, smaller pulley and a tune. If you plan on running stock boost and trying to make it work like how vortech "intended" than you will ned a 4.5 pulley, send your ECU to Hondata for a reflash and 60lbs injectors. You can go to vortech.com and download their install manual which has a part list. Everything will bolt on exactly the same but there are a few differences.
