Fuel is 100% combustible, the water in the meth mix is not.
No doubt in order to take advantage of the oring that would be the way to do it if you must tap. But the better way would be to weld bungs on a angle then the oring can seat on the bung.
Fyi, my coolingmist cm5 injector doesnt have a oring and it seals fine with thread tape but it does have more threads then the devilsown injector pictured above.

So external, I understand that aiming the jets against the flow of air will increase atomization. But why then do the fuel injectors do the opposite and aim into the flow of intake air rather than against it?
I would think with the devilsown injectors you would want to tap them perpendicular if you wanted any chance of the o-ring creating a good seal.

Having a good seal, and not creating any boost/vac leaks is a much better idea than the angle of the jet imo.
