Question Disappointing dyno numbers?

My motor blew last year so I sourced a replacement and swapped it. I'm running a comptech SC novi 1000 with 3.4" pulley, E85, 1200cc injectors, Walbro 255. I was expecting to at least be in the high 3's. My tuner said that my rising rate regulator was malfunctioning so I will have to purchase a new regulator and retune. He said that we can push more out of the tune when the fpr is replaced. Even still, 330hp was disappointing to me. Am I being unrealistic? I'm not the biggest car guy so let me know if I'm being unreasonable.

if you cant send fuel, the tuner, if a competent one- which he sounds like by not pushing it- is NOT going to push the car. #s dont matter until you have a working regulator

A 225lph pump trying to get decent numbers out of E85 isn't going to happen. I am running the STOCK fpr on a Walbro 450 and its at a base pressure of 60psi.

I was just saying because the cost of a decent aftermarket FPR is about the same cost as a walbro 450, FPR's in my opinion are unnecessary, plus he would then have room to grow.

Grab a A1000 -10 and be done with it.

Its the only FPR Ive EVER ran on all my boosted cars, and NEVER had issues. solid FPR and works like a charm.
