Innovative! Re-purposed vacuum blocks are less expensive than the PTuning offering.
Any pics of the mount?
I suppose you pay quality and customer service and their parts are quality, no point arguing. Had they been local, or if I was challenged with diy I would have gone for their kit.
I mean for some it can be impossible to find the right parts, or make lets say the oil supply line with all the fittings needed.
So all in all, the PTuning kit is great and I blatantly made a cheapo copy of it. I mean when I started I was not sure if my temp sensor would fit all the way in and not bottom out before it was on tight enough. And so many other little things.
Thanks for the input. I'm aware of the issue but solution is being installed soon. as per my 1st post soon to be FI.

Pressure will read just fine though.

Ideally temp sensor should go in sump.

I had mine in a dead end block, and it took a long time for it to see proper temps. I know the oil cooler doesn't work that good.
Yep as others said, I wouldn't put a temp probe in a remote spot like that, simply because it likely won't be accurate at all. Unless you have oil flowing past the sensor it'll never read accurately, and even then, it could read slightly cooler.
