Default Do all Vortechs using the black box run lean?

I've been reading that Vortechs run lean with the black box. Is this the general consensus? I've also read of people running it with the blackbox since they bought it.
Is there any other solution I should consider? I don't care for a VAFC because I would rather just buy the Emanage Ultimate if I do have to buy something, so I can upgrade pulleys in the future.
Thanks!

Personally I think the running lean thing was more from additional aftermarket parts (headers, exhaust, blah, blah). I wouldn't use an emanage as a paper weight though, not even the emanage ultimate.

The black box has nothing to do with the fuel. Like I said if its lean you need to turn the fmu up.

Oooh, okay. I did some more research:

$40 for a piece of plastic? Is this what you mean by turning the FMU up with the recalibration kit?

edit: apparently you can do the same thing with a washer replacement.

Eh, pretty sure on my comptech it was just a screw. Give it a turn to add or remove fuel.

So back to the idea of Emanage Ultimate since it's not adjustable?

The Emanage Ultimate will work just fine, provided you have a good tuner.
