Default drop in fuel pumps?

Going to do a return conversion on my '07. 10 psi, id1000s. 80% duty on the stock system gets me in the low 13s AF wise. I'd like to keep the OEM pump for reliability reasons, and the calculations say that I can. I should be able to support ~410 crank HP on the stock 190lph pump. Is this true? If not, what pump is OEM quality? I have been reading stories of Walbros and Aeromotives failing.

I've had the Fullblown 340 pump die after 4-5 yrs and now am using the Walbro 255(as of today). Running 14psi.

I think I read here that all AEM, FB, and Aero pumps are Chinese made. So, that's one reason I replaced mine with the American made Walbro. Only time will tell.

It seems like the OEM pump would struggle at that much psi, but your duty cycle seems like it's working.

Maybe a Bosch pump for a quality replacement. Is Deutchwerks a German made pump? Maybe that too.

I'm using the Full Blown 290LPH fuel pump. It's a bit of a tight fit into the stock bracket but definitely isn't tricky to install and so far (~7months) has been running completely fine.

If you get one make sure you get a new SHORT filter sock for it. I was a moron and got the long sock, which gets in the way of the fuel arm (the lever that floats and senses how much gas is in the tank). The long sock still works but my gas gauge will never quite read an empty tank since the arm gets stuck.

I'll fix it whenever I feel like cramming back into the trunk lol.

There's only one fuel pump you should want or ever need, unless you are going for a super high HP.

The SOS Walbro 450 fuel pump. The install kit is FANTASTIC and perfect. The wiring kit is mandatory and is just as nice. The fuel level sensor functions as it should.

Ill say it again, trust me and buy this. Do not mess around with the crappy Full blown pumps. The housings corrode and the filter socks fall apart after 2 or so years.

Yeah the walbro 400/450 pump is all you'll ever need. Also does anyone know if you can get the 450(e85 pump) and run it on pump gas most of the time?

Any rough idea on how much HP the 450 can support on 93 octane + methanol? Or E85?

I'm not going to be doing any more upgrades to my car for quite some time but I'm considering either a flex-fuel setup in the future or just a methanol injection kit.

I'm at 600whp on the 450 and e85 at stock fuel pressure and id2000s I think it's good for around 800hp

I just installed the DW300 and it seems to be a great quality pump flowing just under the Walbro 450(really overkill for anyone making less than6 600 whp) and it was an easy install and I reused the factory sock(although it came with one). It has a nice noise at prime and is also made for E85. I'll be making ~550 on e85 with this pump.
