tuner toys makes a pretty nice adaptor for the map sensor. those pics suck but you can get the idea.

yeah. i could use something like that. hopefully ill get this all fixed soon and i can try again on the dyno. does anyone have pictures of what the seals SHOULD look like? bc im thinking i have the wrong injector seals. i think they sent me seals for a DSM. they look just like the seals i had in my eclipse and talons.
Well I can't tell if they are leaking vacuum and causing my high idle. And the problem with ordering new seals is bc I actujally called PTE and told them what I had and what car they were going in and this is what they sent me... idk.
I don't mean to insult your intelligence, but just want to make sure that I read that correctly.
Your MAP sensor reads no vacuum when the car is off, correct? Thats how it should read. 100kpa or 0psi or however you have it set to read. Is it still doing that when you have it idling at 3k rpms?

when it was idling at 3krpms, it was reading 89kpa. if i remember correctly, it was also reading that same thing when the car was shut off. eventually the sensor started reading the correct values again all of a sudden. but when it started reading the correct values, it would still idle at 3k rpm. so something was forcing it to idle up.
and no need to worry bout insulting me. i dont know anything about tuning, i just build it to take to a tuner. so he told me what was going on when he would sync up and try to tune.

i did a little more searching around and i found the seal that my injector is missing. now if i can just get it then i am sure that it will probably fix my problem with the high as hell idle. (wishful thinking)
good luck man sometimes when it rains it pours. I had a scored cylinder last year and promised myself that I would build it the right way this time. well I did or atleast thought I did and now I have a low oil pressure issue and don't know why. 10 grand later and its still in the garage.
i know your feeling. my car sat for over a year before i figured out i had a burned out section of wire harness and burned out the cylinder 3 injector driver on my ecu. before that i dropped a valve and blew the engine. but thats the whole reason i spent all the cash to fully build this engine. i know last night i was catching more crap than a yankee stadium septic tank..... i was ready to just set fire to the car by the time i got home. but o well.
im just a little curious about something. are the lower injector seals (the thick ring) the same from honda to honda? because im hoping to go to a part store and maybe find a set if so.
