does running 18" wheels effect the car when dynoed?

yes because it takes more energy to spin them

but if you're gonna be on the 18s everyday then why run on the stock wheels??? wouldnt you wanna see what you throw down on a daily basis...unless you want a dyno queen....but honestly. 18s from stock you wont see a difference in numbers

this wasnt done on an s2k, but when i had a mini cooper s, the guys did a dyno between the heavy 17inch runflats that came with the sports package s and the 15's that came on the base cooper...on the same car, same day, with just changing the wheels, the guys made about 30whp between the light 15's and heavy 17's with runflats...
