For the E85 guys, please read.
Know there´s a lot of E85 users in USA right now and just wanted to share.
We´ve used it over here for close to 10 years now and seen both the good and bad parts of E85.
Most people know that aluminum will release particles (if not anodized), some rubber will dry out and crack, valve seats can go bad among other things.
(This is also the reason for Volvo and other brands to change these parts on FlexiFuel cars.)
The thing most people don´t know is that you can actually stop this by using fuel additives like Redline and other brands.
I´ve seen E85 damages on engines but never on the ones using the additives, really good product that also lubes fuel pumps and injectors.
I think but don´t know for sure that it´s wise to tune the car on additive if you plan on using it, it might change the E85 detonation limit a bit.
Oki, just wanted to let you know if you missed it. Great fuel but very aggressive in the long run.
Edit: After many PM:s, this is the stuff we use at work, great product: http://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=84&pcid=12

You can call any of the E85 gurus that work for Volvo, Ford or Saab and they will tell you the same thing.
This is also why they test new fuels for many years before they launch a new model. You don`t have to believe it, up to you.
To the other guys, there's a Redline additive that`s made for methanol but works fine for E85, that`s what we use. Also another brand, X1 or something that the Rally guys use.
I`m not saying this to hate on E85, just let you know what helps the engine and fuel system last longer.

You don't have to look for anything really, just want you all to know that E85 is very aggressive in the long run any will hurt the components more than gasoline.
It's very dry and wont lube the parts like gas.
We've seen it first hand in our race engines and it really helps to use additives if you don't want to fully E85 convert the fuel system and internals.
Will take a few years to notice it in a race car or summer car but pretty fast in a daily driver. One of our customers just bought his 5:th Walbro but that's for his year around daily. :-)

Be careful guys. Turbochargers aren't good on engines. I'm not saying they're bad, but engines that are NA last longer than engines that are converted to being boosted. If you are gonna go boosted, make sure you run Shell V-Power premium fuel. I've personally seen this stuff burn and it burns clean. We've run this stuff on race engines for 10 years now. It will lubricate your valves like no other. It will repair worn valve seats. If you don't want any problems while running a turbocharged engine, run Shell V-Power fuel.
I just wanted to let you know if you missed it or didn't "get that memo."
