This was discussed years ago. It may actually inhibit flow at the top end casuing a loss in power.

fwiw, there was a fan that was capable of producing about 4.5psi.
it was also capable of being placed in such a location (in the intake piping of a car)

there were some videos of a guy holding it, and letting it go, and it would take off into the air.

iirc, it was damn expensive.

Ahh, but at what flow?

I can produce 4.5psi by blowing through a straw. But I can't produce anywhere near enough flow to produce any positive pressure into the S2000s intake. And nor can a small electric motor.
